How To Have a Great Telehealth Visit

Here are some tips on how to get the most out of a telehealth visit with your child’s doctor at Worcester Pediatrics:

  • Situate yourself and your child in a well-lit room that is free of any noise and other distractions.
  • Any electronic device will do, but a smartphone works best for a telehealth visit.
  • Log in at least five minutes before your scheduled appointment time using the patient’s name.
  • Be sure to have a thermometer, a flashlight or other light source, as well as a scale to check your child’s weight during the appointment.
  • The doctor may ask for your help with your child’s physical exam, such as pushing on their belly or taking their temperature, among other things.
